You are in the office and an important meeting is about to start, or you are getting ready for that romantic dinner and want to wear that particular old shirt you love so much, and - argh! -  you notice that your shirt button got distressed from the laundry service or loose after a rough washing? No problem! 
Here is a quick step-by-step guide to save the day with just a hotel sewing kit. In a matter of a minute you will be able to show up in perfect style with your Della Sorte shirt!
 

Thread the needle and close it with a knot at the end, then thread it through one of the button holes, inserting the needle at the rear of the fabric in the position where the button will have to be positioned.

Pass the needle through the adjacent hole and pass it through the fabric up to the reverse, it is not necessary to stretch the thread, just make sure it is not knotted or rolled up.
Repeat the passage twice, then perform the same number of passages for the other two holes.
To fix the button, stretch the thread and make sure it doesn't come off:
pass the needle from the rear side to the front, without inserting it in the button holes and pull the thread.
Tighten the thread well and wrap it twice around the threads that hold the button. 

The final steps:
keeping the thread taut, pass the needle from right to left and then under the threads that hold the button, making at least three little knots. Cut the leftover thread and - congratulations, you did it!
