You love your Della Sorte shirts and you often ask us how to take good care of them!
Because we want your shirts to keep looking great for several years, keeping its colors and softness unaltered, wash after wash, we have answered your call!
Here a short vademecum on how to give your shirts a long life.
If you don't have much time ...
The easiest and quickest way to wash your shirt is to take it to the drycleaner, but be carefull! It may seems the best and easier option but laundry wash and ironing is often too aggressive.
If you choose to bring your shirts to a professional laundry, we advise you ask them not to dryclean and make sure you point out to them any stains so that they can be treated properly.
If you prefer to wash your shirts at home ...
If you prefer to take care of your shirts yourself, you can easily wash them at home. First of all, read the label, it contains information on the fabric and the instructions for an optimal wash!
Remember: the first couple of wash are the most critical ones as the fabric is new and the shirt is at a higher risk of shrinking if not washed properly!
Try to wash your shirts immediately after use, so that they do not turn yellow and the stains are easier to remove.
Before washing your shirt, unbutton it, remove the sticks from the collar and pre-treat any stains leaving a small amount of detergent to act, without rubbing.
Set the washing machine: for lighter fabrics we recommend using a delicate cycle, while for more resistant ones a normal cycle is required. For light colors you can use hot water, while for dark ones, if you don't want them to fade, cold water is advisable, you can get great results also at 86F.
If you prefer to handwash your shirt, remember not to soak it but rinse it immediately.
Do not use too much detergente and avoid bleach!
